Summer Ventilation

A significant advantage with the moistureMASTER positive pressure input system is the motorised damper unit which can switch the air supply from the roof cavity to directly outside in the summer time. During the day this fresh air will prevent excess heat build up within the home but at night as the sun goes down the cooler night air will flush out the remaining excess heat from the home. If the system has been set up to deliver fresh air directly to the bedrooms these rooms are likely to be much cooler when you go off to bed at night.

The greatest benefit of ventilation in respect to cooling is usually from early evening and throughout the night. All the air being introduced into the home flows through our patented particle and pollen filter. Relying on mechanical ventilation could significantly reduce the amount of wind blown particles infiltrating your home in Spring and Summer.
